Willow tree fairy - Ismaki challenge #27

I LOVE fairies so I was very when I found out that this week's Ismaki challenge is the sketch and fairies :)

I used a part of my HUGE Willow Flower Fairy stamp from Stamps Happen, stamped the image with gray StazON (I like the gray - it gives a softer look than the black)watercolored it with water based markers and my water brush. The butterly is a part of an Inkadinkado stamp called Time flies. The tag says you're Special (stamped with Colorbox Cat's eyes chalk ink) - I know it doesn't show on the picture, I will try to make another one later ;)

And here is another card I made with this stamp - this time with the whole one :)

2 Sketches 4 you challenge #3

I found this great sketch on 2 sketches 4 you/ blog and I just had to make a card. It was a challenge for me because I usually don't use a lot of flowers, but I'm pretty happy with the result. :) The stamp is from Stamps happen, I colored the picture with watercolor pencils. Papers I used for layering are from My Mind's Eye and the flowers are from Prima.

Arty Girlz weekly challenge #40 - Nature

This week's challenge on Arty Girlz blog is Nature (flowers, animals - anything from nature). I had this Stampin Up set for some time and didn't use it yet, but it fits the theme. I watercolored the cardstock before stamping, and colored the image with chalks. I found out I enjoy using chalks :) just need more shades. I stamped the butterfly again and cut it out and attached it only by the body. You can't see it on the picture but the cardstock I used is a very pretty one from My Mind's Eye embossed with leaves.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge - friendship cards

This week's challenge was to make a friendship card.. first I made one with the hedhegog and a ladybug, but I didn't like it so much so I made another one. I used Basic Gray - Perhaps papers, paper pieced her dress and purse and used a small flower paper punch. And I used a purple metalic pen on her shoes and accesories, but it doesn't show much on the picture

Dutch Dare card challenge - brown butterfly card

The theme on Dutch Dare card challenge is to use a stamp as a main image. So here it is. Stamped with large Inkadinkado stamp, I cut out and layered the bigger butterfly, colored a bit with chalks and watercolor pencils. Hope you'll like it.

Pink (fake shaker) birthday card - caardvarks pink challenge

I tried a new technique on this card - it's like a shaker card, but the little flowers are trapped behind a wide organdy ribbon instead of acetate window. I used paper piecing on a butterfly and various decorative stitches all around. The papers are from Basic grey Gypsy Romani Collection. They look better in real.. they look kind of washed out on the picture :(

I'm entering this card in Caardvarks this week "Think Pink" challenge. It's not all pink, but has a pink "feel" :)

Arty Girlz challenge #39 - Hint of Pink

I keep discovering more challenges every day - don't have time to join all, but I just got these pictures from Pink Petticoat and they just ask for something pink :)

This week's challenge on Arty Girlz is to use something pink - so here it comes. I used light pink swirly paper from K&Co, pink glitter marker, HOTP ribbon and some jewels.

My first reverse iris folding card

I'm quite a begginer card maker and I like to try new techniques. They don't always work out as well as I would like, but hey.. I'm learning :)

I've see this kind of card somewhere and it looked fabulous so I started to look for tutorial. I found a great one on PeeJay's blog http://peejays-crafty-bits.blogspot.com/ (thank's a lot PeeJay). I changed it a bit - used stamped images, because I didn't have ready made ones. The folding is not perfect - it's quite hard to fold cardstock precisely :(

The stamp I used is from Inkadinkado and the ribbon is Hot Of The Press (citrus ribbons).

I will enter it to this week's Papertake Weekly Challenge - i think it suits the theme HOT summer colors (orange, yellow)
