2014-15 Annual Catalog Shares

Do you want all of the great new papers in the 2014-15 Catalog but can’t afford everything?  Let’s do a share!

New Designer Series Paper Share – $27 

There are 10 new paper packs with 6 different designs in each pack plus two new Paper Stacks.  You will receive one 6×6 sheet of each design (for a total of 66 sheets of 6×6 paper) from the following DSP packs:

• Typeset (2 of each)
• Gold Soiree
• Flowerpot
• Flashback
• Sweet Taffy
• Confetti Celebration
• Park Lane
• Maritime
• Lullaby
• Back to Black

You will also receive one 4-1/2” x 6-1/2” sheet of each design from the Moonlight and All Abloom DSP Stacks (for a total of 24 sheets of 4-1/2” x 6-1/2” paper).

I'm in Niagara Falls, ON - so if you would like your share to be mailed, shipping would be $8 for ON, QC, $10 for the rest of Canada.

There is also a LOT of fabulous new ribbon and I'll be happy to make a ribbon share too - just let me know if you are interested.

Watercolored Bloom

I took an online class called Watercoloring for Card Makers where I learned about faux hand painting.. and here is my first attempt:

since it's FAUX hand painting I used a stamp - from the new catalogue coming out TOMORROW!!!
I colored it water based inks and water brush on watercolor paper. The leaves were painted freehand.
Sentiment is from the same set as the flower - Bloom with Hope (one of the new hostess sets)

SOS152 - Birthday Bloom

Good Morning! It's Tuesday and that means a new challenge at Shopping Our Stash. It's our 3rd anniversary this week, so the challenge is to make a Birthday or Anniversary card. Easy, right?
I used my very new SU sneak-peak purchases to create this card:

The flower was colored with my new Blendabilities and the CS and ribbon are from the new in-colors too. The only old thing is the dotted background paper :)

It's Tuesday and that means we have a new challenge at Shopping Our Stash. This week it's an inspiration:

I was inspired by the clock and the colors and here is what I made:

I used a retiring SU set called Clockworks.

SOS141 - Summer Silhouettes & 3-2-1

This week's challenge at Shopping Our Stash is called 3-2-1. We ask you to use 3 of something, 2 of something else, and 1 of something else.

for my card I used 3 patterned papers, 2 flowers and 1 ribbon

• Paper: Basic Black, Very Vanilla CS, SU designer paper
• Stamps: Summer Silhouettes,
• Ink:  Smoky Slate,  Pool Party, Basic Black
• Accessories:  Vanilla Seam Binding colored blue with Pool Party reinker
• Tools:  Pearls, Scissors, Paper Trimmer, scallop circle punch, circle punch

SOS136 - Wide Open Seas

This week's challenge at Shopping Our Stash is called Cabin Fever. No, we don't want you to use a cabin in your project. By Cabin Fever we refer to the time of year (at least in the Northern Hemisphere) where the weather is very cold and wet and windy and we are stuck inside, just wishing we could be OUTside. So this week we'd like you to make a card or other project with an outdoors-y theme.

 From my card is obvious I wish I was somewhere on or by the sea - preferably a warm one, with sandy beaches and palm trees :)
