Watercolored Bloom

I took an online class called Watercoloring for Card Makers where I learned about faux hand painting.. and here is my first attempt:

since it's FAUX hand painting I used a stamp - from the new catalogue coming out TOMORROW!!!
I colored it water based inks and water brush on watercolor paper. The leaves were painted freehand.
Sentiment is from the same set as the flower - Bloom with Hope (one of the new hostess sets)

Challenges:
Cupcake Inspiration - beautiful cupcakes with large flowers
My Time To Craft - no designer paper
Just Add Ink - Watercolor
Jo's Scrap Shack - Happy Birthday

Wow - what a gorgeous work of art, Alica! The white space offsets the painted flower beautifully, and I love the elegance of the sequins. Thanks for playing along with us at Just Add Ink this week!
